Bay View has been designed to provide comfort in a relaxed setting. The large gardens with a variety of fruit trees attract birds of all varieties will help you unwind after a hard days exploration.

Listen to the waves and take in the breath taking views of Hodges Bay, the ocean and our little island lovingly named "lost island" from the comfort of your veranda. You will understand why it is called "Bay View"!

The beach is a mere walk way. Snorkel over to “lost island”, swim with the fish and experience coral of many varieties. Finish off with a rinse in the clear fresh water river that runs down to the ocean before heading back.

You can choose to prepare food in the well equipped kitchen and enjoy your meal out on the veranda or walk down to the village where local cuisine is widely available and international restaurants welcome you.

The lodge has hot running water, large washrooms with shower. The living area has a sofa which can be pulled out to use as another double bed. TV (although I doubt you will have time to watch anything). Fresh linen will be provided for and the lodge will be cleaned twice a week. Our local bakery provides bread deliveries every morning except Sundays. Bella-Bon Bakery provides the most mouth watering breads and cakes baked to order.

If you are lucky enough to visit during the full moon, your experience here will be greatly enhanced. Witness the ocean being lit up by the moon and the silhouettes of the palm trees swaying in the moon light drenched sky. It never fails to captivate you!.
